A 15-year-old company with a remarkable experience serving the sophisticated technology needs of a famous multinationals and renowned brands struggled to take the next step in its development. A capable and professional team was not given a proper guidance, and many internal processes and customer-facing practices were outdated or overlooked, resulting in low efficiency and limited growth. Additionally, with a significant engineering footprint in Central and Eastern Europe, the company was heavily affected by the aggression against Ukraine.
The goal was to stabilize the company and its team amid multiple security, operational, and human challenges, secure the customer base and associated revenues, and lay a foundation for organic growth. At the next stage, transform the company to reach a new level of efficiency, form a new leadership team, and conduct a handover.
Upon receiving a mandate from the owners, Radenia has provided a non-executive directorship and interim management to ensure professional oversight and ownership of the much-needed transformations.
Relationships with key customers were elevated to a strategic level, unlocking several growth opportunities. Clear internal and external communications, including those related to a security situations, staff wellness, and uninterrupted service provision, helped establish a trustworthy environment and collaboration among all stakeholders. New processes and decision-making practices, a simplified organizational design, and support from an interim leadership team created a new sense of ownership and helped the company become more agile and goal-focused.
Many internal talents we promoted or returned to the company. Selected new hires closed critical gaps and allowed us to shape a fully functional and self-sustainable core team.
After a sufficient handover period, the company under new management remained a trusted provider to its customers and began growing both organically and inorganically.
